WEB 2.0 Tools final blog reflection

 What tied the knot was the hyperdocs...

Every element of web 2.0 is an extension to what we can do for our kids. Just today we were debating about the usage of technology in the classroom and how some districts are going for the full blown tech optimization.  The confusing was quick settling, from the simple questions of how can we manage that part as a teacher, to the harsh statements that some teachers would rather go back to 100 percent paper and pencil. 

But in reality and after further exploring... wait a minute I have always being supportive of technology and further understanding and exploring only gave me more confidence that if applied correctly it can yield great learning dividends! 

Elements that are  a must now...

Extension. 

Self paced 

But the UNIVERSAL LEARNING DESIGN! 

The empowering of technology can only be as powerful as the knowledgeable hand that applies it. I'm only half way from all of my courses on edtech but I know for sure that there is no going back. 

WEB 2.0 is our route to a universal learning design that helps support collaboration and social interaction in new innovative ways without compromising the wellbeing of the kid as longest it is applied properly.  We must understand that there is a gap on higher technology competency we must address in order to acquire the desired results for now it is a self induced initiative but we are paving the way for our future generations.
